Peace of Mind Counseling (POM) is based out of La Crosse, WI, and offers psychotherapy, substance abuse counseling, and more. 

 Jackson County Behavioral Health (bhjacksoncounty.org) 

Jackson County Behavioral Health offers youth programs, adult programs, an outpatient clinic, crisis, and case management. 

 Social Services - Ho-Chunk Nation 

The Ho-Chunk Nation Social Services offers services such as: Child and Family Services, Child Support Agency, Community Supportive Services, Domestic Abuse Services, Independant Living Services, Tribal Aging Services, and Youth Services. 

 Shelter | Family Promise Of Monroe County | Tomah 

Family Promise of Monroe County is now merging with Jackson County. Family Promise offers prevention and diversion services, shelter programs, stabilization programs, family services and community services. 

 Behavioral Health – Krohn Clinic 

Krohn Clinic is staffed with a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and one certified counselor who are specially trained to provide care for a variety of mental health needs.  

 Behavioral Health at Black River Healthcare Clinic, BRMH 

The Black River Healthcare Clinic at the Black River Memorial Hospital offers services to address areas of concerns such as: addictions, anxiety, attention and concentration challenges, behavioral issues, depression, family problems, family stress and parenting, grief and loss, fears and phobias, substance abuse, suicidal thoughts, traumas and PTSD and work problems. 

 NWCGC – Northwest Counseling and Guidance Clinic 

Northwest Journey offers comprehensive, community-based treatment, preventative services, and therapeutic support for children, adolescents, and families in transition. Their goal is to promote stability, growth, and success for all. 

The Community Support Services at the Jackson County Department of Health and Human Services building offers: Goodwill Vouchers for clothing, emergent food cards, hotel vouchers, and works with the Salvation Army to distribute vouchers for gas and hotel stays. 

These services are available while funding is available. 

If you have a school age child in your care and do not have your own housing, there are some benefits the child is entitled to. Let their school office know that you are living in a homeless situation or ask to speak with the Homeless Liason.

 Western Dairyland 

Western Dairyland Community Action Agency was established June 6, 1966, under the Economic Opportunity Act to help disadvantaged individuals in Buffalo, Eau Claire, Jackson, and Trempealeau counties located in West Central Wisconsin. The agency's mission is to alleviate poverty related conditions and provide opportunities which enable people to advance economically and socially.

Workforce Connections based out of La Crosse, WI, helps connect individuals with jobs, training, people, and valuable resources that will assist in breaking down barriers on their employment journey. 

 DEHCR Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program (WHEAP) 

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program (WHEAP) assists eligible households with their heating and electric bills. It is funded by the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and the ​​​Public Benefits (PB) program

Jackson County Public Health Department offers services such as public health preparedness, birth to three program, child safety seat program, communicable disease services, immunizations, maternal child health program, WIC, prevention services, water testing, radon testing, human health hazard, and public inspections.
